ENGINEERING · AUTOMATION · SCI-FI CREATIVITY

Ideas become
real projects.

TheTodd.Design is where I document the things I build: automation platforms, electronics, 3D-printed mechanisms, Linux systems, websites, game development, and whatever unusual idea I decide to make next.

WELCOME TO THETODD.DESIGN

More than a portfolio

This site is a working archive of projects, experiments, and ideas. Some projects solve practical problems. Others exist because building something futuristic, unusual, or unnecessarily complicated is fun.

I share the finished result along with the useful parts behind it—design notes, diagrams, source code, downloadable files, parts lists, lessons learned, and the mistakes that made the next version better.

BUILD Make the idea real

Move beyond concepts and create something that can be tested and used.

DOCUMENT Show how it works

Keep enough detail that the project can be understood, repaired, or recreated.

SHARE Help the next builder

Publish useful files, code, and discoveries instead of hiding the process.

PROJECT AREAS

What I build

The projects cross several disciplines, but they share the same goal: combine imagination with practical engineering and make the result work.

AUT

Automation & Software

Infrastructure automation, workflow systems, APIs, web tools, and platforms that remove repetitive manual work.

ELX

Electronics & Motion

Arduino controllers, sensors, motors, power systems, audio modules, and physical machines that react to the world.

3DP

3D Design & Printing

Custom mounts, enclosures, mechanical parts, prototypes, props, and components designed around real hardware.

GAM

Game Development

Original science-fiction worlds, characters, ships, environments, Three.js experiments, and interactive experiences.

SYS

Linux & Home Lab

Servers, containers, virtualization, networking, media systems, local AI, and the infrastructure behind the projects.

WEB

Web & Visual Design

Project websites, technical documentation, interactive interfaces, motion graphics, and futuristic visual systems.

THE WORKBENCH

Always in progress

The site will continue to grow as older projects are reorganized and new builds move from the workbench to finished documentation.

Expect a mix of polished projects, experimental prototypes, downloadable resources, behind-the-scenes development, and occasional ideas that are difficult to place in any normal category.
