TROUBLESHOOTING

Nano Status Light Codes

  1. 1 blinkopening timeout — open reed was never reached
  2. 2 blinksclosing timeout — closed reed was never reached
  3. 3 blinksfinal-close timeout
  4. 4 blinkshoming timeout
  5. 5 blinksboth reed switches active simultaneously
  6. 6 blinksopen reed stayed active after closing began
  7. 7 blinksclosed reed stayed active after opening began

PROGRAMMING SOFTWARE

Software Needed

The Arduino IDE is the only software needed to open, edit, and upload the sci-fi door controller code to the Arduino Nano.

Arduino Nano Code

Download the controller code used for this sci-fi sliding door project. The code is provided for personal, noncommercial use. You must review and accept the agreement before the download begins.

DOOR AUDIO

Sci-Fi Door Sounds

Download sound files for the DFPlayer Pro. Extract the ZIP file and copy the selected MP3 file to the root directory of the DFPlayer Pro storage.

AUDIO Classic Sci-Fi Door Sound Includes the MP3 file used by the Nano controller

The default Nano code expects the door sound file to be named 0001.mp3.
